There are many ways to obtain or buy cheap building materials. Firstly, it is wise to check the internet from reputed stores. Secondly, seek the opinions of previous buyers. Thirdly, buy from local markets as it helps to save the cost of transportation. Or buy from neighbors who discard old materials to remodel homes and apartments. How We Found $7,000 in Reclaimed Building Materials (HOUSE DEMOLITION!)

Support us on Patreon: http://bit.ly/2tdla40

Many of you know that we spent a solid four days last week in a demolition project! We found an ad on Craigslist advertising a bunch of roofing for just $300 if we were to remove it ourselves so we went to check it out. It turns out that the entire house and barn was scheduled to be demolished in two days’ time, and the contractor let us know that we were free to take anything we wanted as if we didn’t, it would simply go to waste by being burned.

We got straight to work and were able to salvage 70 panels of roofing, cedar sheathing, barked cedar posts, bricks as well as loads of usable lumber. We are already putting these materials to use and have saved over $3,000 in our little winter add-on for our RV! Follow us on Facebook to see all of the little mini projects we are using these reclaimed materials on!

London Underground Construction History – Mega Structure.

The London Underground (also known as the Tube or simply the Underground) is a public rapid transit system serving a large part of Greater London and parts of the home counties of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. The network is considered the oldest rapid transit system, incorporating the world’s first underground railway, the Metropolitan Railway, which opened in 1863 and is now part of the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines; and the first line to operate underground electric traction trains, the City & South London Railway in 1890, now part of the Northern line. The network has expanded to 11 lines, and in 2013/14 carried 1.265 billion passengers, making the Underground the world’s 11th busiest metro system.
